Your kindness is making a BIG difference for my fifth graders.\r\n\r\nThe rolling desk will be such a helpful addition to our classroom. It will allow me to move around the room more easily, work alongside students, and provide extra support wherever it is needed. I know it will quickly become one of my favorite classroom tools!\r\n\r\nThe books are especially exciting! Having 8 copies of Al Capone Shines My Shoes and 8 copies of A Night Divided means that more of my students can read, discuss, and learn together. There is something special about being able to share a book with classmates and have meaningful conversations about the characters, challenges, and lessons in a story.\r\n\r\nAnd, of course, you can never have too many Expo markers in a fifth-grade classroom! 😊 These will be put to good use during lessons, small groups, and all of our daily learning.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and helping me create a classroom filled with opportunities to read, learn, collaborate, and grow. These flexible seating options have truly transformed the way we learn and collaborate during small group time. The students absolutely lit up with excitement the moment they saw the stools. Several of them rushed over to try them out and immediately started \"testing the wobble.\" Since then, they've quickly become a favorite spot for group discussions, partner work, and even quiet reading. One special moment was during a recent book club session where students, seated on their wobble stools, were fully engaged in deep conversation about character development. It was amazing to see how the right seating could help bring their ideas to life!\r\n\r\nThese stools have not only improved focus and comfort, but they've also given students more ownership of their learning environment. As we move forward with our current social studies unit on the turn of the century, students will be working in small STEM groups to design a working mini version of the Panama Canal. The stools will allow them to easily shift and collaborate as they brainstorm, draw, and build together. Your contribution gave us more than just furniture. You gave us a space that supports creativity, movement, and connection.
