Being in a high-needs school, many of our students face daily challenges that can distract from their learning. Now, because of your kindness, they know they can take care of their basic needs right here at school.\r\n\r\nI will never forget the excitement on their faces when they first realized that snacks and hygiene items were available whenever they needed them. For many, it was a huge relief—they no longer had to worry about being hungry or feeling self-conscious. Instead, they could focus on being students: learning, collaborating, and growing.\r\n\r\nAlready, we've seen the impact. Students grab a snack to help them stay energized through lessons, and others quietly take hygiene items when they need them. These small but powerful resources have boosted their confidence and helped create a classroom where they can feel safe and cared for.\r\n\r\nThe next step for us is continuing to nurture that sense of security and belonging while diving into our upcoming lessons and projects.
