They were so excited to see all of the musical instruments, especially the glow sticks and wooden percussion sticks. They have enjoyed using items such as the egg shakers when learning about syllables, and other \"beats\" when it comes to compound words, etc. We have also used many of the items for our indoor recess time, when it becomes either too cold or wet to play outside.\r\n\r\nStudents also love it when I use the frog percussion (wooden frog with the wooden stick) to indicate that it is time to change our centers, or transition from morning work time to carpet time, and other changes throughout the day.
