(They waited to order them until after the summer since it was so close to the end of the year when the project was funded.)\r\nThe students were so excited last week as they explored how our art room had changed. The stools were the biggest change they noticed even though three big pieces of furniture had moved. \r\nThere have not been any disagreements about who has the stools either, which happened a lot when we only had three. My wiggly students are able to focus better and even the not so wiggly students enjoy having choices about what to sit on and how tall the stools are. \r\nThank you, Thank you, Thank you! Your contribution has made a significant and immediate impact in our classroom.\r\n\r\nThanks to your donation, we now have access to hands-on math tools and engaging resources that have brought our lessons to life. These materials have helped transform abstract concepts into tangible learning experiences, increasing student engagement and deepening their understanding of foundational skills. I've witnessed a boost in student confidence, especially among those who previously struggled with math. They are now more willing to participate, take academic risks, and apply problem-solving strategies in creative ways.\r\n\r\n\"Gear Up with Math\" has not only improved our daily instruction, but it has also fostered a classroom environment where every student feels equipped and empowered to succeed. My students are really liking having the option to use them. In many of the classes we set up a rotation so that everyone who wants to try them can have a turn before we have second and third turns. \r\n\r\nI have a handful of students across multiple classes who gave me the idea for this project because of their need to move and fidget. I am thrilled to say that they have taken to the stools very quickly and that they have definately helped them stay focused for longer and make more progress than they had been on their artworks. The other students in those classes have noticed the difference too, and help make sure those students get one of the stools each day they come to class. \r\n\r\nI am truely grateful for your gift, as are my students.","fullyFundedDate":1737939771043,"projectUrl":"project/wiggle-wobble-stools-for-focus/9075412/","projectTitle":"Wiggle & Wobble Stools for Focus","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Antman","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp148283_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1453316085910","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/kantman"},{"teacherId":9051934,"projectId":7387075,"letterContent":"I am thrilled to share with you the impact your generous contribution has had on our classroom. With the new resources you provided, we've been able to embark on exciting learning adventures. One particularly memorable project involved creating a miniature ecosystem to study the delicate balance of nature. Students were deeply engaged as they carefully set up terrariums, observing firsthand how plants, soil, and tiny organisms interact within a closed environment. The enthusiasm in the classroom was palpable as they connected their observations and the broader concepts we've been exploring.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their eyes lit up excitedly. It was heartwarming to witness their curiosity and eagerness to dive into the activities ahead. The colorful textbooks, hands-on manipulatives, and engaging multimedia resources sparked their imaginations and fueled their thirst for knowledge. Their reactions reaffirmed the transformative power of quality educational materials in inspiring young minds.\r\n\r\nAs I look ahead, our next steps involve delving deeper into sustainability and exploring ways to impact our environment positively. Guided by inquiry-based learning principles, students will conduct research, collaborate on projects, and take meaningful action to address real-world environmental challenges. Your support has empowered us to continue fostering a classroom culture of exploration, creativity, and critical thinking.\r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you for your generosity and belief in the power of education.
