Right away, the chairs became a popular choice for students who benefit from a different way to focus during lessons. Whether solving problems independently or working in pairs, students have been able to engage more deeply in their math practice with the comfort and movement the chairs allow.\r\n\r\nOne of the most powerful moments happened during small-group math rotations. Two students who often struggle with multiplication facts chose the new seats, and I noticed a real shift in their focus and confidence. Instead of becoming frustrated, they stayed engaged longer and even began helping each other with strategies. They later shared that the chairs made math practice feel \"less stressful\" and \"more fun,\" which was a huge win for both of them.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our math lessons, the chairs will be used daily during problem-solving activities, fluency games, and collaborative projects. These resources are helping my students approach math with a more positive mindset, and that has made a real difference in our classroom. Thank you for making this possible—you've helped create a space where students feel comfortable taking risks, working hard, and building their math confidence.","fullyFundedDate":1752496849338,"projectUrl":"project/flexible-seating/9446621/","projectTitle":"Flexible Seating!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. White","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10047522_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1748704709417","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/kayla-white"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_47914","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":883,"numTeachers":46,"percentFrplEligible":61,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":35,"percentWhite":31,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":23,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"19.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":81.0,"schoolId":47914,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Carrollton Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Carrollton Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/georgia/carrollton-city-school-district/carrollton-junior-high-school/47914"}
