Because of your kindness, our students have had the opportunity to experience cup stacking for the first time, bringing a new and exciting way to learn, move, and challenge themselves in PE.\r\nThe stacking cups have allowed us to incorporate individual challenges, partner and small-group races, relays, and whole-class activities into our lessons. While students are having fun and competing against themselves and one another, they are also developing important skills such as hand-eye coordination, concentration, speed, efficiency, teamwork, and perseverance.\r\nOne of the greatest impacts has been watching students improve with practice. An activity that may seem difficult at first quickly becomes an opportunity for them to problem-solve, try again, and celebrate their progress. Students are learning that success isn't always about being the fastest, it is also about effort, improvement, and not giving up when something is challenging.\r\nThese stacking cups were brand new to our school, and for many of our students, this was their first opportunity to experience this type of activity. From the very first day the seats arrived, the excitement was contagious—students rushed to try out the wobble stools, floor cushions, and lap desks. Many of them immediately said things like,This makes it so much easier to focus and I love that I can choose where I learn best.\r\n\r\nWe are already using the new seating every day. During small-group reading time, students spread out with floor cushions and clipboards, while others prefer wobble stools at our work tables. One memorable moment was when a student who typically struggles to stay seated during lessons chose a wobble stool—and for the first time, was able to participate in the entire activity without needing extra breaks. That sense of accomplishment lit up their face, and it showed just how powerful this change has been.\r\n\r\nThe next step for my students is learning how to self-regulate and choose the seating that helps them be most successful during different types of activities. We're also using this as an opportunity to practice responsibility and care for the materials—students take pride in setting up their learning space and making sure everything is ready for the next group.\r\n\r\nYour support didn't just provide furniture—it created a classroom where movement, choice, and comfort lead to stronger focus and a love of learning.
