This text has made it much easier for students to discuss perspective, identity, and how different experiences shape the way people see the world. Through the various voices in the novel, students have been able to analyze character development, make personal connections, and engage in meaningful conversations about empathy and understanding.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom has become much more interactive and student-driven. Students are following along closely, participating in discussions, and genuinely engaging with the story and characters. Many students who typically struggle to stay focused during reading activities are now eager to contribute their thoughts and interpretations during class conversations.\r\n\r\nOne moment that especially stood out to me was when a student told me, \"I only came to school because we were reading this book.\" That comment alone showed the incredible impact this project has had on student engagement and motivation. For many of my students, this book helped them feel seen, interested, and connected to what we are learning in class.\r\n\r\nYour support provided more than just a novel — it created excitement around reading and opened the door for authentic discussions and deeper thinking in our classroom.
