The bean bag chairs are by the far, my students favorite part of all of the things they received. They use them daily, while reading and the star students of the week love to use them while we are at the carpet during our \"read aloud times\". I try to instill my passion for love to my students, and this project filled my soul with love and my students are loving it as well. Between the books, teepee, bean bag chairs, and phonemic and phonics reading centers; my children are in a safe space in my classroom where learning to read brings engagement, comfort, happiness, and a curiosity that I love seeing. Students also used these materials to practice correct punctuation. In addition, we used the donations to practice how to write different kinds of writing such as informational, opinion, and narrative.\r\nMy students were very happy to know that donors from DonorsChoose contribute to increasing their learning by donating consumable materials and other materials that students use daily.
