Our curious scientist, engineers, and mathematicians use supplies frequently and our school size continues to grow -- replacement of these frequently used materials are inevitable but often challenging to fund. This project made it possible!\r\n\r\nOur students absolutely love creating solutions with LEGO bricks and the new baseplates in assorted shapes and sizes were popular when they appeared. The LEGO mazes that have been engineered with triangular and round base plates have been so much fun to play but more challenging to build. \r\n\r\nOur indoor and outdoor gardens continually need nutrients and soil, and many of those materials were a part of this grant. Today was the last day of our winter crop harvest and our gardens have transitioned to summer crops for the remainder of the school year. \r\n\r\nDue to many items being out of stock at the time the project was funded, replacement materials included a wonderful addition to our incubation and embryology project, a heated base that the new hatchlings are getting great use of. \r\n\r\nThank you for helping make it all fabulous,","fullyFundedDate":1732106251452,"projectUrl":"project/restock-the-stem-labs-at-pia/8940756/","projectTitle":"Restock the STEM Labs at PIA","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Simmer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4844595_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1620151241214","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/pia-stem"},{"teacherId":4844595,"projectId":8940649,"letterContent":"The discovery that our students enjoy when dissecting owl pellets is unlike other experiences.
