With these supplies, I was able to offer a sewing class twice a week at my middle school. Many of the students in the class had never used a sewing machine before. These students have grown from asking me to solve every seeing problem to having the confidence to solve many issues themselves. This is a skill they can carry with them to their academic courses and beyond. They then have been able to watch the chicks grow in the brooder box and learn about how to take care of them. This practical experience has deepened their understanding of biological concepts and fostered a sense of responsibility and care for living creatures.\r\n\r\nThe moment the students first saw the incubator and brooder box, and realized they would be hatching chicks was priceless. Students were excited through the incubation period of 21 days and they eagerly anticipated the arrival of the chicks. This enthusiasm has translated into heightened engagement and a genuine passion for learning.\r\n\r\nAs the chicks continue to grow, students will engage in further studies related to animal behavior, nutrition, and habitat requirements.\r\n\r\nYour support has not only enriched our science curriculum but has also provided our students with unforgettable, real-world learning experiences.
