Many students enjoyed the blending aspect of this dry medium, but we certainly have a lot of work to do in learning technique and cleanliness with our compositions. We have been really dancing around in art from projects that make use of mixed media supplies, and as you can see we have done a lot of line and shape, and space projects so far. The students love receiving their own bucket/tub in my class. They really take ownership of the supplies they are handed and I haven't had to deal with stolen/lost materials almost at all since implementing this new system of art classroom organization. The students love feeding the fish as well as watching them. We also have some snails in the tank they like to keep their eyes on too; ) 😁 \r\nWe have been using the rulers all the time in art class as well as science. They have been super handy to have for both classes! The wooden ones were very old and uneven with missing metal edges on them so these have been great. The calculators are also awesome, and we've been very grateful to use them so far in physical science where calculating formulas comes much easier without having to rely on 2 clunky old ones for the entire class to share!\r\nI also want to thank these donors for believing in this project and being cool enough to take it on.
