Students are verbally and visually requesting it! It provides proprioceptive and vestibular feedback that is essential for regulation and engagement. \r\n\r\nThe most preferred way to use the box is by jumping on top of the Lycra layers. Another favorite is hiding inside the box for a quiet, dark area to calm and self-regulate. Many of the teachers, myself included, have even given it a try! \r\n\r\n\r\nThe cuddle box was easy to put together and so convenient to clean. They were so excited to see our new tables and be able to spend more time outdoors. This extension to our classroom has come in extra handy for our science units on living and nonliving things. \r\n\r\nThe time we've spent outside so far has been a blast! All of our scholars have been engaged and positive while outside. It's amazing the difference a breath of fresh air can make!\r\n\r\nAs the weather warms up, we look forward to planting seeds and having a comfortable space to observe them grow. We are also going to be using these tables more and more for outdoor centers, table time activities, and art.
