Each day we would get a new box sent to the school and it was like Christmas morning each day for the kids! We would sit in a circle and give a drum-roll before opening up the box and dazzling at what was inside. It gave the students two fun weeks of surprises to look forward to. Now they have the whole school year to enjoy all the kind donations.\r\n\r\nThey were so happy to add the new books to the bookshelf and were immediately calling dibs on who got to read what book first. As a reading teacher, this made my heart full knowing they were excited for books! The calming materials and fidgets have been a great help in the room too. When students become too overwhelmed with their work or big emotions spill into the classroom, those materials are a quick way to take their mind off the stress and refocus themselves.\r\n\r\nI again, cannot say thank you enough for the donations. Without your help these materials would just be a dream that we wished for.
