During our physical properties unit, students used the calculators and scales to calculate density with greater accuracy than ever before. Instead of struggling with outdated or broken equipment, they were able to focus on the science and problem-solving, which made the activity much more engaging and meaningful. Having a reliable set of materials also means I, as the teacher, can monitor and maintain the supplies more carefully, ensuring they last for years to come.\r\n\r\nWhen the supplies first arrived, the students were so excited to test them out. Many commented on how much easier it was to get accurate readings, which ultimately lead to the correct answer. \r\n\r\nLooking ahead, my students will continue using these tools in upcoming experiments on matter, chemical changes, and energy transfer.
