Each student working through the Edgenuity program has struggled with their content-area classes and is repeating them to earn the credits needed to graduate. The students come to class already feeling defeated and like the work they have to do is a waste of their time and energy. But, the donations you shared have brought in hundreds of snacks for our students, motivating them to work hard and complete those tasks that are both time-consuming and often difficult. Our classroom store is a bright point in the day for many of them, and I couldn't be more appreciative of your help in making it amazing.\r\n\r\nEach week, students can earn tickets based on how much of their course they complete with a score of 80% or higher- 10 % equals one ticket, 20% equals two tickets, and so on. Those tickets are then redeemed for snacks, ranging in \"price\" from one ticket to five tickets. They can save their tickets from week to week and trade them in at any time throughout the semester. Boy, have those tickets improved participation and work completion! I am so proud of our students and the work they are doing towards graduating.
