My students were really excited when I brought the box in with all of the donated items. I have utilized these at my teacher table for remediation for some my students and during my math and reading center rotations so that my students can utilize them daily for practice. In kindergarten I want to make sure that all my students can recognize all letters, sounds, numbers and counting. These foundational skills will come in handy when it is time to start learning reading, writing and math skills. \r\n \r\nCurrently my students are hard at work learning their letters and how to make them with the play-doh mats and alphabet locks. As they are learning their letters they are also learning the sounds that they make. Some of my students do know their letters and sounds so I like to enrich them by using the CVC words activity center. For math we are working on counting and sorting number up to 10. By doing this my students use the Nuts About Counting and Find the Number activities. These skills are important because when they get into addition and subtraction they will need to understand and recognize numbers.","fullyFundedDate":1746785232599,"projectUrl":"project/creativity-and-critical-thinking-through/9201624/","projectTitle":"Creativity and Critical Thinking Through Educational Play","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ford","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9783099_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1727485582167","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9783099"},{"teacherId":2055222,"projectId":8937654,"letterContent":"Thank you for giving my students the opportunity to use technology to enhance their learning. With their great and increasing presence in our lives it only makes sense to have mobile technology in the classroom. Yet there are some conditions that are delaying this imminent future of using technology in the classroom as the valuable learning tool. Students can surf the web to locate current information on their Math, Science and other areas of their curriculum without disturbing their neighbors because of the headphones.\r\n\r\nThe new headphones are so helpful for the students to do the technology component of their lessons.
