When my second graders walked into their classroom and saw the new décor, they were immediately excited. They noticed the colorful details, the welcoming atmosphere, and how everything came together to make our classroom feel special. We have talked about how our classroom is a place where everyone belongs, and I have loved watching my students take pride in their learning environment.\r\n\r\nOur classroom décor has helped create a space that feels warm, organized, and full of positive energy. We use our classroom environment every day as we learn, read, collaborate, and celebrate our accomplishments. My students are becoming more comfortable taking ownership of their space and understanding that our classroom is a community where we support and encourage one another.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, our classroom is now more than just a room with desks and supplies—it is a space where my students feel welcomed, inspired, and excited to learn. Thank you for investing in our classroom and helping create an environment where second graders can come to school each day ready to learn, grow, and make wonderful memories!","fullyFundedDate":1778029992409,"projectUrl":"project/mrs-wootens-classroom-refresh-for-a-co/10207705/","projectTitle":"Mrs. Wooten's Classroom Refresh for a Comfortable and Inviting Space","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Wooten","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2865033_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1741658140469","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-kelly-wooten"},{"teacherId":10084082,"projectId":9478128,"letterContent":"I wanted to reach out to you with an update about our project. I was blown away with your generosity. The donations came in so quickly. We received our wiggle stools by the second week of school. The students were so excited when they walked in and saw the bright red stools. The wiggle stools replaced traditional tan classroom chairs. These chairs took up a lot of space in our classroom. In the past I had chair pockets on the chairs for extra storage. These got very heavy and often ripped or stained. These wiggle stools have great storage at the bottoms of them and they're light weight and easy to move around.\r\nIn my opinion the best part of these stools is the ability they give the students to constantly move in a safe and calm way. The students can get very wiggly in a traditional chair and fall down. These stools help them to balance and are even soothing to them. Everyone that enters our room always comment about how cool they are. My former students are very jealous that they didn't have them in the past.\r\nWe really appreciate your kindness and generosity in helping our classroom!","fullyFundedDate":1754507848237,"projectUrl":"project/wiggle-while-you-work/9478128/","projectTitle":"Wiggle While You Work","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Caruso","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10084082"},{"teacherId":2865033,"projectId":9221566,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting my recent Donors Choose grant in order to help me build my classroom library. We are using these amazing books in my classroom to inspire children to read engaging books independently, to teach kindness and inclusion, to build on the standards that I am teaching, and to bring attention to important topics.\r\n\r\nMy students love the variety that these books provide. There is now something for everyone- rather they want to read something silly or heartwarming, sporty or girly, informative or entertaining. The various books also help meet meet my students various needs as there is something for below grade level, on level and advanced readers.\r\n\r\nWe use these books in whole group to teach standards such as using context clues to find the meaning of unknown words, character traits, problem/solution, theme, identifying text features, central idea, rhyme scheme, ect.
