These breaks help regulate emotions, improve attention, and support positive behavior throughout the day.\r\n\r\nThe plates and cutlery have already been put to great use during small celebrations and incentive activities. One of my favorite moments was watching my students' excitement as they helped set up our class snack station for the first time. They felt so grown-up, responsible, and proud to help prepare a space that we will use daily. Their faces lit up when they saw all the choices available to them some students even cheered!\r\n\r\nWe are now able to incorporate snack breaks into academic lessons as a motivator and a chance to practice social and communication skills. Students are learning to make choices, clean up after themselves, and share materials responsibly.
