Because of your kindness, our clarinet, saxophone, oboe, and bassoon players are able to take their musicianship to the next level using high-quality reeds that truly make a difference in tone quality, technical proficiency, and student confidence. Your gift has also lifted a tremendous financial burden from many of our families. We have students in our program who would not be able to participate in band without assistance like this, and your support ensures that every child has access to the materials they need to succeed and thrive in music regardless of financial circumstances. Our beginning band students will perform their very first concert in early November, followed by our intermediate and advanced ensembles the following week. Many of these students will be taking the stage using the reeds you donated, sounding their very best and feeling proud of the work they're doing. Your generosity is already making an immediate and lasting impact.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in our students and investing in their musical journey!","fullyFundedDate":1752586594002,"projectUrl":"project/reed-all-about-it-reed-funding-for-woo/9444564/","projectTitle":"Reed All About It - Reed Funding for Woodwind Instruments","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Tordi","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10069831_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1751549900828","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/tordi"},{"teacherId":10069831,"projectId":9444595,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation of colored paper for our band program! Our students have already put these materials to great use. We printed all of the resources for our \"Band Force\" curriculum on this paper, assigning each level its own color; Level 1 in red, Level 2 in blue, and Level 3 in green. This simple but impactful system has made it significantly easier for students to quickly find the materials they need, stay organized, and transition smoothly during class. Not only has this improved efficiency and reduced lost learning time, but it has also brought a spark of excitement to our students. They love the colorful materials and were thrilled to see everything displayed in the hanging file system on our band room wall. I am actively collaborating with fellow band directors in our county, as well as the professor of Music Education at the University of Florida, to expand, share, and eventually publish this curriculum so it can benefit other band programs across the state. Your support is helping us build something meaningful that will extend far beyond our classroom.
