The impact of your donation has been far reaching impacting all of my grade levels in many different ways. I teach STEAM at Triangle Elementary School and all of the students from special needs, preschool to fifth grade participate in my class on a rotation.\r\n\r\nMy special needs students love these educational acrylic blocks. The nonverbal students will pick one up and bring it to me to show them a video of the creature in the wild! They've been lined up by colour, size, numbers of legs and even pretty and ugly bugs. I often have to go to their classrooms and collect the insects as they go back to the rooms with the kids. I don't mind! \r\n\r\nMy older students talk sort them by habitat and we discuss food chains. Later, we will be researching specific insects.","fullyFundedDate":1723678856343,"projectUrl":"project/hands-on-exploration-of-the-once-livin/8520570/","projectTitle":"Hands on Exploration of the (Once) Living World Around Us","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ankers","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9118477_orig.jpg?crop=2448,2448,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1706283001127","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-ankers"},{"teacherId":9613243,"projectId":8727956,"letterContent":"Dear Donors Choose Supporters,\r\n\r\nI am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous support of my project. While my original request for stools was not fulfilled due to availability issues, your thoughtful contribution allowed us to increase our order of tennis balls for the chairs and desks in our classroom. The impact has been truly remarkable.\r\n\r\nWhen my students returned from Thanksgiving break, they were thrilled to see the colorful tennis balls on their chair and desk legs. The excitement in their eyes was priceless! This small but impactful change has made an enormous difference in our classroom. The noise level has decreased significantly, allowing students to work in a quieter, more focused environment. It's amazing how something as simple as adding tennis balls can create such a positive shift, making it easier for my students to concentrate and engage fully in their learning activities—without being distracted by the noise from moving chairs.\r\n\r\nYour support has made a direct and meaningful difference in the lives of my students. I cannot thank you enough for your generosity. You've helped us create a more peaceful and productive classroom, and for that, we are all incredibly grateful.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for being a part of our classroom's success!\r\n\r\nWith deep appreciation,","fullyFundedDate":1725742187976,"projectUrl":"project/stools-for-successful-readers/8727956/","projectTitle":"Stools for Successful Readers","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Allen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9613243_orig.jpg?crop=1000,1000,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1725731909070","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9613243"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_46456","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":695,"numTeachers":50,"percentFrplEligible":90,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":25,"percentWhite":31,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":37,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"13.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":65.0,"schoolId":46456,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Triangle Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Triangle Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/florida/lake-county-school-district/triangle-elementary-school/46456"}
