I try to keep my book collection fresh and diverse for my learners. This project helped do just that. Here are a few highlights from this project: \r\nGustavo, The Shy Ghost was a great read aloud for students around Halloween. It had a great storyline and colorful illustrations. My students practiced sequencing and were able to do do interactive lessons on their computers. My evaluation was also on this lesson and it was a great success. \r\nThe Young Teacher and the Great Serpent was a metaphor to a new teacher that had an outdoor classroom near a river that flooded. Students were able to connect to culture and communication struggles also expressed in this book. \r\nBuffalo Fluffalo was a cute rhyming story. My students giggled throughout and completed a step-by-step character drawing activity at the end. They love them and are so encouraged and excited to use their new tools. \r\nMy students started to freak out whenever they saw all of the packages arriving. We did a fun unveiling of the packages.
