In the end, they were such \"smarties\" they got \"smarties\" :) It was a HUGE hit. Being able to manipulate the models and then seeing them under the scope really helped them to understand what human tissue is and how it functions. Students had so much fun using their anatomical knowledge to describe their patient's wound and build an autopsy report. Gone are the broken lab trays that can cut you if your not careful. We actually have enough now to do groups of 2 instead of always having 3-4 for lack of usable trays. Gone is the moldy smelly drying rack that no one wants to have to clean next to. Kids don't complain on lab days when it comes to cleaning up.\r\nI know it seems a small thing - but these are huge to myself and my students.
