The moment they saw the stack of bright markers and their very own whiteboards, they were practically bouncing out of their seats. We passed everything out right away, and they immediately started doodling, writing math problems, and practicing vocabulary words with big smiles. The candy was a fun bonus and has become a great motivator during longer lessons or review games.\r\n\r\nSince receiving the materials, we've used the whiteboards almost daily. One memorable moment was during a math review game where students worked in pairs to solve problems and held up their answers on their boards. It made participation fun and kept everyone engaged. As we move forward, my students are starting a persuasive writing unit. They'll use their whiteboards to brainstorm ideas, organize arguments, and peer-edit in small groups. It's been amazing to see how something as simple as new supplies can bring energy and collaboration into the classroom.
