Your kindness has made such a meaningful difference in our speech-language sessions and we are incredibly grateful for your support. Because of you, my students have access to more hands-on resources that make learning fun, approachable, and rewarding.\r\n\r\nThe students were surprised and ecstatic when they saw the brand-new materials all wrapped up and ready to use! Their excitement was contagious. They couldn't wait to unwrap everything, explore the different activities, and discover how we would use the new resources during our sessions. Seeing their faces light up was such a special moment. They felt valued and eager to learn, and that enthusiasm has been sustained.\r\n\r\nWe are using these wonderful materials weekly to practice speech and language skills, strengthen communication, and work toward individual student goals. From Holiday Storytelling Cards and Vocalic R Cards to Irregular Verb Cards and a Context Clues Game, each resource provides an engaging way for students to practice important skills while building confidence.\r\n\r\nThe new materials give students opportunities to practice these challenging skills in a fun, low-pressure environment. Rather than feeling intimidated, students are excited to participate, take risks, and celebrate their progress. One of their biggest areas of growth this first quarter has been articulation of the \"r\" sound and using context clues to determine the meaning of unfamiliar words and phrases while reading. \r\n\r\nAn especially memorable example has been working with a fourth-grade student on irregular verbs. He shared that the new materials make learning verbs \"easy peasey, lemon squeezy!\" His enthusiasm has been wonderful to see, and his grammar skills have improved tremendously. Moments like this remind me how powerful the right resources can be in helping students feel successful and motivated to learn.\r\n\r\nAs we move into the next quarter, we will continue building on the progress students have made. My articulation students will work toward producing the \"r\" sound more consistently in words, sentences, and everyday conversation. Students working on language and literacy skills will continue practicing irregular verbs and using context clues to understand unfamiliar vocabulary and phrases in increasingly challenging reading passages. We will also use the storytelling cards to encourage expressive language, sequencing, vocabulary development, and more detailed storytelling. As students become more comfortable with these skills, we will focus on helping them carry what they learn in speech therapy into their classrooms, reading activities, and conversations with peers and teachers.\r\n\r\nWe are so grateful to have you as part of our learning community. However, the installation on the wall is high for small first grade students. \r\n\r\nThe step adds few inches that they really need to interact with the activities on the screen. This provides an extra safety feature that is very beneficial for the children. We use it every day in the classroom. It has really made a difference.
