Having a color printer in my room has made printing resources for my students so much more impactful and engaging. Here are some examples of how this has greatly helped with our new curriculum...\r\n\r\nOur new curriculum has many awesome resources, including some that are to be printed and used by students. The first set of photos shows students who are using color printed cards to identify the ways cells are similar and different. When I printed these in black and white it just didn't give the level of detail that students really needed to think deeply about this topic.\r\n\r\nIn the next picture you can see how I printed the Spanish version of the student workbook. At a teacher in a high English Language Learner environment, it matters that our ELL students have resources that are the same high quality that we offer in English. Being able to print in color and in Spanish helps my students to make the connections they need in Science.","fullyFundedDate":1754844137959,"projectUrl":"project/in-living-color/9560174/","projectTitle":"In Living Color","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Pollard Moran","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3083620_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1464788148200","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-pollardmoran"},{"teacherId":9696612,"projectId":9543168,"letterContent":"The color multiplication charts have been a wonderful addition to our classroom. They help students visualize math in a way that makes it easier to recognize patterns, find factors, and simplify problems. By combining the charts with their interactive notebooks, students are not only building stronger problem-solving skills but also creating a personal learning tool they can revisit and build upon. This hands-on, colorful approach makes math more engaging and accessible for every learner, especially those who might struggle with memorization or traditional methods.\r\n\r\nWhat excites students most is how the charts make math feel more like solving a puzzle than completing an assignment. They love the visual aspect and the chance to personalize their notebooks with these tools, which gives them a sense of ownership and pride in their work. I've noticed that some of my quieter and more hesitant learners have especially warmed to the charts; the visual support boosts their confidence and encourages them to participate more actively in class discussions. It has been rewarding to see these students light up when they realize they can simplify with ease and experience success in math.","fullyFundedDate":1754696833342,"projectUrl":"project/smooth-transition-to-middle-school/9543168/","projectTitle":"Smooth Transition to Middle School","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Paul","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9696612"},{"teacherId":4095540,"projectId":8931891,"letterContent":"Thank you for supporting our fledgling culinary class.
