Your donations have made a meaningful impact on my students and our daily learning experiences.\r\n\r\nThe fish tank and supplies have become a favorite part of our classroom. Students eagerly observe the fish each day, learning responsibility as they help care for them. This has sparked rich conversations about habitats, life needs, and empathy for living things. The fish tank has also created a calming environment, helping students regulate emotions and stay focused during learning time.\r\n\r\nGrowing butterflies has been an unforgettable, hands-on science experience. Students were able to witness the life cycle firsthand, from caterpillar to butterfly. This project encouraged curiosity, patience, and excitement for learning as students made observations, drew diagrams, and shared their discoveries with pride.\r\n\r\nOur herb-growing project has given students a deeper connection to plants and the natural world. They learned how to care for living things, observed growth over time, and practiced responsibility by watering and monitoring their herbs. It was rewarding to see their excitement as they watched something they planted grow.\r\n\r\nThe marble run obstacle has supported problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration. Students worked together to design, test, and improve their marble runs, developing critical thinking and perseverance. This activity encouraged teamwork and allowed students to learn through trial and error in a fun, engaging way.\r\n\r\nBecause of your kindness, my students have been able to learn through hands-on experiences that inspire curiosity, responsibility, and joy. First of all we could never find the chords in the tangled mess and students would choose to not plug in their computers. My students now keep their devices powered throughout the day, which allows for less interruptions. They are able to stay engaged in research, testing, or any other project during the day. \r\n The color printer has allowed for so many opportunities for learning and creativity. I can print graphs, charts, or any visual aids which helps them better understand complex concepts. One memorable moment happened during a game-based review session when students worked in teams to solve problems and explain their thinking to one another. I watched students who are usually hesitant during math lessons confidently justify their answers and encourage their classmates. The games created a safe space for learning through collaboration and discussion.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, their excitement was immediate. Several students said things like, \"Wow, these are so cool!\" and eagerly asked when we could start using them. Their enthusiasm carried through the lesson, and even students who typically struggle with math were fully engaged and motivated.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, my next steps include using these games to reinforce current lessons and prepare students for upcoming assessments. We will continue rotating the games to target different standards and use them as review tools before introducing new concepts. The confidence and joy these resources have brought into our classroom will continue to support student growth all year long.\r\n\r\nThank you again for giving my students the gift of joyful learning and helping them see math in a whole new way. During one rotation, a student who usually hesitates to read aloud proudly used his whiteboard to tap out and write three new sight words. He was so excited that he asked to show the entire group—and they all cheered for him. Moments like this are exactly why these materials make such a difference.\r\n\r\nThe day the supplies arrived felt like a celebration. My students gasped when they saw the colorful phonics tools, the fresh whiteboards, and (their absolute favorite!) the new Play-Doh. Several students immediately started talking about what they wanted to build to \"practice reading and math.\" For many of them, having materials that feel fun and hands-on helps learning feel safe and exciting. Their faces lit up, especially when they realized these tools were just for them—thanks to people who believe in their success.\r\n\r\nWe're now launching a multi-week \"Readers and Problem-Solvers\" unit, where students will use the whiteboards daily during small-group instruction to practice stretching out words, solving math problems, and checking their own work. The phonics and sight-word activities will be central to helping them build fluency, while the sensory Play-Doh will support fine-motor development and keep them engaged.
