For our reluctant readers, these books have opened up new avenues for engagement. They've started picking up books they might have otherwise overlooked, and many have even begun discussing their favorite parts, building excitement about what comes next. Watching these students finish a book, eager to talk about the ending, has been one of the most rewarding aspects of the project. They love using the board and showing what they know or have learned. I can see their excitement in their eyes when they are assigned the board for an instructional activity. They cannot wait. It has also allowed them an opportunity to practice their own organization skills by assisting with maintaining the organization of the books.
