My students get to scan a QR code which takes them to a story that is read aloud to them on their iPads. They get the independent to pick their own books but are able to listen to someone read it to them. It is one of their favorite things to do within my classroom. \r\nReading is vital for students, and having low income, not all of them get read to everyday at home. This ensure they are being read to everyday and they get to select their own books. This is creating a love for reading. \r\nBy funding this project, you were able to not just put books in students hands, but give them the ability to listen to those books read aloud.
