My students were thrilled to see it when they first entered the room on orientation day. Since then, we have used it for read alouds, group discussions, and small group work. Students enjoy having a comfortable space to discuss and work together in my ELA classroom.\r\n\r\nThroughout the school year, we will continue to use this rug as a place to gather and collaborate. From reading, writing, to working on projects together, students will continue to utilize this comfortable space all year. The bright smiley faces on the rug bring cheer and a cozy feeling to the classroom that the students truly enjoy.\r\n\r\nI can't thank you enjoy for funding my project and supporting my fourth graders. These tools have significantly improved our day-to-day learning experience, and I wanted to share the impact with you.\r\nThe Chromebook cart has brought much-needed organization and efficiency. Previously, getting devices out, ensuring they were charged, and distributing them fairly took up valuable class time. Now, with everything in one place—charged, stored safely, and easy to access—students are able to transition quickly into their lessons. We're spending more time learning and less time managing materials.\r\nThe headphones have made an equally important difference. Not all of our students have their own, and having a class set ensures that everyone is prepared for learning—no one feels left out or unprepared. Whether students are listening to a read-aloud, working through a math tutorial, or practicing a second language, they can now do so with clarity and focus.\r\nOne of the most heartwarming outcomes has been seeing students take ownership of their learning. Several students who used to feel distracted or hesitant now show more independence and engagement. It's clear that having reliable access to technology has boosted their confidence.\r\nThank you for making our classroom a more organized, inclusive, and engaging place to learn. Your support means more than words can say.","fullyFundedDate":1746478121575,"projectUrl":"project/empowering-student-learning-with-technol/9064784/","projectTitle":"Empowering Student Learning with Technology","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Cantu","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8643787_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1723163818513","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8643787"},{"teacherId":8643787,"projectId":8607064,"letterContent":"I cannot thank you enough for your generosity and the incredible impact it has had on my classroom. The bouncy seats you provided have truly transformed the learning environment for my students.\r\n\r\nFrom the moment the seats arrived, the excitement was contagious. Students couldn't wait to try them out, and the smiles on their faces were priceless. Once we began using them, I noticed an immediate difference in their ability to stay focused during both whole group instruction and independent work. The gentle movement allows them to channel their energy in a positive way, helping them remain engaged and attentive.\r\n\r\nOne specific moment that stands out is during a recent collaborative project. Normally, a few students struggle with staying on task in group settings. However, with the new seats, they were able to focus better, contribute more to the discussion, and even finish their tasks ahead of schedule. It was amazing to see how a simple change in seating could make such a big difference.\r\n\r\nSince introducing these resources, not only has student focus improved, but their academic performance has also seen a noticeable boost. Test scores are climbing, and students are feeling more confident in their abilities.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, the seats will continue to play a vital role as we explore new projects and lessons. From writing assignments to STEM activities, the flexibility and focus these seats provide are helping my students reach new heights in their learning.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in us and for giving my students the tools they need to succeed. Your support has made a profound impact on my students' learning experiences, creating an environment where they feel engaged, supported, and excited to learn every day.\r\n\r\nHere are just a few examples of how your donations have made a difference:\r\n\r\nBand-Aids: These small yet essential items have ensured that minor scrapes and bumps are quickly addressed, allowing students to return to their activities without missing a beat.\r\n\r\nSnacks: Your contributions have helped us provide snacks to students who might otherwise be learning on an empty stomach. This has ensured they stay focused and ready to tackle the day's lessons.\r\n\r\nMath Games: The addition of fun and educational math games has turned our math lessons into highly anticipated activities. Students now approach math with enthusiasm, reinforcing their skills through play and collaboration.\r\n\r\nHands-on Manipulatives: These tools have been invaluable in helping students grasp complex concepts. By moving from abstract to concrete learning, students gain a deeper understanding of the material, which boosts their confidence and achievement.\r\n\r\nChart Paper for Anchor Charts: The anchor charts created with this paper have become vital visual aids in our classroom. They help reinforce key concepts and serve as ongoing references for students throughout their learning journey.\r\n\r\nFinger Flashlights for Flashlight Reading: Flashlight reading has quickly become a classroom favorite. The finger flashlights add an element of fun and excitement to reading time, motivating students to dive into books with renewed enthusiasm.\r\n\r\nPrivacy Boards: These have been a game-changer for independent work time. By reducing distractions, students can focus more effectively, resulting in higher-quality work and increased confidence in their abilities.\r\n\r\nYour kindness and generosity have not only provided these materials but have also sent a powerful message to my students: that their education and well-being are valued by a community that cares. Every item you contributed has played a role in creating a positive and supportive learning environment where my students can thrive.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of myself and my students, thank you for being such an important part of our classroom community.
