Each afternoon the students are able to come to the incentive cart with their point sheets and as long as they have an 85 or above they are allowed to choose what they would like. Some students choose snacks others choose fidget toys. \r\nWith these new items, students have been working harder than ever to get the point they need to participate and their grades are improving as well. I have received all the items from the mental health list. The students have been enjoying the hand 2 hand calming tubes as well as the pop-it toys. I have been utilizing those during sessions with students and when I push into classrooms. The students where extremely excited about the new items that they now have access too, some of our students have had very limited access to fidget toys. \r\n Next Steps for our project is to continue to implement the new items into the weekly sessions with students both in groups sessions and, individual sessions. I have been able to put together several errorless workbooks for my lower students. I have also been able to put together math workbooks. This makes it easier to keep track of all of our pages and keep all of our math in one place. I am excited to see what else I will be able to put together with this. In previous years, I would buy white binders in bulk to create workbooks - I no longer need to! The best part, the spirals are reusable. I can take out all the pages and continue to use over and over.
