The automatic hand sanitizer dispenser has helped reinforce good hygiene habits in a simple way. Having plenty of sanitizer available has also helped us cut down on messes and germs, so everyone feels more at ease focusing on their learning and classroom activities.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, they were so excited! They thought the automatic dispenser was really cool and couldn't believe how big the sanitizer container was. Several students commented that we'd have enough to last for a long time, which made them feel proud and cared for. Now that we have these supplies, our next steps are to continue building routines that promote responsibility and cleanliness in the classroom. The students are taking ownership of keeping their space neat, and it's wonderful to see how a small change has boosted both their enthusiasm and our classroom community.","fullyFundedDate":1758202596406,"projectUrl":"project/clean-vibes-staying-sharp-and-sanitize/9711031/","projectTitle":"Clean Vibes: Staying Sharp and Sanitized","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Revell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5917292_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1538104636715","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5917292"},{"teacherId":9763530,"projectId":8841043,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation of books to our school. Our students have loved using these titles in small book clubs, where they've had the opportunity to discuss meaningful stories, share ideas, and build community through reading. The selections have allowed students to see themselves and their experiences reflected in the pages—something that has deeply resonated with them.\r\n\r\nTitles such as March: Book Two and March: Book Three inspired powerful conversations about courage, leadership, and social change, while Becoming: Adapted for Young Readers and Clap When You Land encouraged students to think about identity, perseverance, and the importance of telling one's story. Many students were especially excited by the graphic novels, which made reading feel both accessible and enjoyable. These books have not only strengthened students' reading skills but also sparked a genuine enthusiasm for literature.\r\n\r\nYour kindness and support have made a lasting impact on our students. Thanks to your donation, our classrooms are filled with rich stories that inspire, challenge, and affirm who our students are and who they hope to become. Our teachers have deeply appreciated these resources, as they have helped them build stronger, more empathetic connections with students. The collection has provided a powerful foundation for understanding how trauma impacts learning and behavior, and how educators can respond with compassion and effectiveness inside the classroom.\r\n\r\nTitles such as Building a Trauma-Informed Restorative School and The Body Keeps the Score have expanded our team's understanding of how to approach student behavior through a lens of healing rather than punishment. Likewise, Grading for Equity and Street Data have inspired meaningful conversations about fairness, data, and transformation in our grading and instructional practices. Together, these books offer research-based strategies and evidence-driven insights that are already shaping our school culture in positive ways.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has had a lasting impact on both staff and students. These simple but powerful tools have made a remarkable difference in our school community. They've provided a healthy outlet for students to release stress and manage anger, giving them a safe space to channel strong emotions.\r\n\r\nSince introducing the gloves, we've seen real change—students who might once have turned to conflict now choose to take a break and work through their feelings in a positive way. Even sixty seconds of focused punching can transform a student's mood and mindset, helping them return to class calmer and more centered. Your donation has not only prevented several potential fights but also fostered a culture of emotional awareness and self-control.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in the well-being of our young people.
