Using literacy games in the classroom quickly help boosted my students' engagement, their confidence, and helped prove their literacy comprehension. We will continue to use these materials to increase their reading accuracy, fluency, and overall confidence.","fullyFundedDate":1760314566212,"projectUrl":"project/literacy-for-all/9817971/","projectTitle":"Literacy For All","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Haislett","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6436407_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1713978224605","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6436407"},{"teacherId":10310274,"projectId":9822887,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for all the help and the support for my classroom! The students and I are loving all the supplies that were given to us! The lap desk have been so useful students are able to go all around the classroom and it provided flexible seating. Student had to work in groups and research about different disasters like earthquakes or tornadoes and the lap desk gave students a way to sit in the floor with there group and work together to write and type in computers in order to be successful in this project. \r\n When the students first saw all of the supplies they were very excited to get to use everything. They wanted to learn more and I loved how it got them interested in learning so they can be successful. My small group students were so excited to read with the reading trackers they could not wait. \r\n The next steps for my students is incorporate more small group activities as well as more chances so the students can move around the classroom. So they can get a love for reading and writing.","fullyFundedDate":1760374491335,"projectUrl":"project/lets-get-literacy/9822887/","projectTitle":"Let's Get Lit(eracy)","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Greenly","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10310274"},{"teacherId":10310422,"projectId":9823340,"letterContent":"This project gave my students a chance to explore new, high interest books in the classroom library. Independent reading is an important part of our day and having a variety of books on many different levels is crucial to make students interested in reading. Our students asked for more graphic novels and we were able to make that happen.\r\n\r\nThe Flocabulary account has given students a chance to be introduced to multiple new vocabulary words per week in a fun way. We use the videos to help introduce new concepts. The students enjoy the week in rap where they learn about current events going on around the world.","fullyFundedDate":1760832815058,"projectUrl":"project/help-students-love-to-read/9823340/","projectTitle":"Help, Students Love to Read","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Joseph","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10310422"},{"teacherId":8834781,"projectId":9820211,"letterContent":"I want to express my sincere gratitude for the funding provided to support flexible seating options and classroom books for my Title I classroom. This support has had a meaningful and lasting impact on my students, which serves students with disabilities and multilingual learners.\r\n\r\nThe addition of flexible seating has significantly improved student engagement, focus, and comfort. Many of my students benefit from having choices in how and where they sit, especially those with sensory needs, attention challenges, or physical disabilities. Flexible seating has helped create a learning environment that is more inclusive and responsive, allowing students to regulate their bodies, participate more fully in instruction, and feel a greater sense of belonging in the classroom.\r\n\r\nThe funding for classroom books has also been transformative. Access to diverse, high-quality texts has supported literacy growth for all learners, especially multilingual learners who benefit from increased exposure to language, vocabulary, and culturally responsive materials. Students with disabilities have also benefited from having books available at varied reading levels, allowing for differentiation and greater independence. As a result, students are more motivated to read, engage in discussions, and build confidence as learners.\r\n\r\nTogether, these resources have helped foster an inclusive, equitable learning environment where all students, regardless of ability, language background, or socioeconomic status, have the opportunity to succeed. I have seen increased student participation, improved classroom climate, and stronger academic engagement as a direct result of this support.","fullyFundedDate":1760322326531,"projectUrl":"project/inclusive-classroom/9820211/","projectTitle":"Inclusive Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Simpson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8834781"},{"teacherId":10310295,"projectId":9824241,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous support, our classroom now has a cozy and inviting reading corner—and it has completely transformed our reading time. With the addition of four big, comfortable pillows and a new bench, students finally have a dedicated space where they can relax, focus, and truly enjoy their books.\r\n\r\nThe moment the reading corner was revealed, the room filled with excitement. Students rushed over to try the pillows, test out the bench, and claim their new favorite reading spot. Even my most reluctant readers were eager to settle in and start exploring books. One student commented, \"It feels like a little library just for us!\" and another whispered, \"Can we read here every day?\"\r\n\r\nSince then, the reading corner has become one of the most loved areas in our classroom. Students look forward to independent reading time, and their engagement has noticeably increased. Many of them are reading longer, choosing more challenging books, and showing genuine enthusiasm for their reading goals.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our literacy lessons this year, this space will support small-group reading, partner reading, and quiet, independent exploration. Your generosity has created a warm, welcoming environment that encourages every student to see reading as a joyful and meaningful part of their day.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping us build a space where stories come alive.","fullyFundedDate":1760410787266,"projectUrl":"project/leveling-up-literacy-and-math/9824241/","projectTitle":"Leveling Up Literacy and Math","teacherDisplayName":"Sra.
