Your generosity has made such a noticeable difference in both the organization and functionality of our classroom.\r\n\r\nWhen we adopted the American Reading Company curriculum, we suddenly needed to find a home for hundreds of books in a classroom where space was already limited. Many of those books originally came in flimsy cardboard boxes that were difficult to organize, took up valuable space, and quickly began falling apart. As you can see from the before-and-after photos, the new storage has completely transformed our book closet! Our books are now organized, protected, and much easier to find and access when students need them.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite transformations, though, has been our headphone storage. Before this project, our headphones were stored together in a basket, which meant tangled cords and a lot of time spent sorting through them. The paper towel holders ended up being the PERFECT solution! By attaching them to the sides of our bookshelves, we were able to use space that otherwise would have gone unused while giving every pair of headphones an easy-to-access home. Students can now grab what they need and return it without creating another pile of tangled cords.\r\n\r\nThe labels and organizational supplies have also helped us create clear, designated spaces for our classroom materials. In classes of 28–35 students, those seemingly small systems make a huge difference. Students are able to find materials more independently, know where to return them, and spend less time searching for what they need.\r\n\r\nWhat I appreciate most is that your donations did not simply give us more \"stuff\"—they helped us make better use of the space we already have. Our classroom is more organized, accessible, and functional because of your support, and these materials will continue benefiting students for years to come.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in our classroom and helping us turn a very crowded space into one that works better for everyone in it. Everything is tidy, with a special place which has helped keep both the students and myself accountable in terms of keeping the room clutter free. Mind you, it is still a work in progress, as is most things in education. However, the relief that came with the supplies delivery is something I wish I could bottle up.\r\n\r\nAs seen in some pictures, the students were so eager to open up the boxes the moment they came! \r\n\r\nAfter condensing our class library books, other ELA teachers were curious as to how we managed to fit everything on a single shelving unit. So I definitely this has pushed others to get the book bins!\r\n\r\nThe translator is a life and time saver for my current Arabic speaking twins. Before they would have to snap pictures of our novels page by page and have google translate. Which in turn made them fall behind in most things. Now, not only are they keeping up, but other teachers in my building have requested similar products to ensure all students have a voice and are able to communicate freely while also obtaining equal education.\r\nIn fact... it came in just in time for a field trip where they would not have their computers to translate for them. So the translating device ensured their safety while on the trip.\r\n\r\nI wish I could post more pictures of their work, and the class.
