We received items that were placed into our class treasure box. Each week, students work to earn points. At the end of the week, they get to pick from our class treasure box if they earned enough points that week. They have enjoyed working so hard to earn something that makes them happy. \r\n\r\nMy students were so excited when the materials started coming in. We had multiple boxes delivered each day for about a week. It was a complete surprise for my students. We would take a few moments at the end of the day to open the boxes together and find out what was inside. They have been so excited to use the materials during the school day. They are extremely grateful. \r\n\r\nMy next steps are to use the resources I received to better the learning for my students. I plan to use the materials I received as other way to teach my students skills this year. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for everything. In addition, the colorful clipboards are a favorite during the writing portion of our small group time. There portability allows students to sit in alternate locations when they are completing assignments and the option to choose where they sit really increases concentration and engagement!\r\n\r\nThe children have also really enjoyed the colorful books and games that support the phonics skills that I am teaching them. These items allow students an opportunity to apply what they have learned to a new task. This project let students design and build prosthetic limbs for stuffed animals. They researched their animal and planned the best prosthetic limb for that animal. We can't wait to expand on this project.\r\n\r\nWe also worked on quick builds where students are given a set amount of materials and must decide the best way to stack them to create the tallest tower.
