We were so excited to receive our donations- when the boxes arrived, we opened them together with our students and the excitement level from them was amazing. When they saw all the activities that we could do to help them become better readers, they could not wait to have a turn.\r\n\r\nWhat is wonderful about these items is they can reach a variety of learners. Students who are below or on level are benefitting from having a multitude of ways to show their knowledge of letter sounds learned. These items are providing students the confidence to try something that felt very difficult before. On the flip side, students who are learning above level are able to be challenged with making and manipulating harder words, as well as more engaging ways to practice those words. (The sand trays are a classroom favorite!)\r\n\r\nWe can't thank you enough for the support and are so excited to see where our year will go with these supplies.","fullyFundedDate":1760686249611,"projectUrl":"project/multisensory-kindergarten-readers/9828373/","projectTitle":"Multisensory Kindergarten Readers!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hartranft","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-hartranft"},{"teacherId":10311818,"projectId":9828399,"letterContent":"My young learners are working hard to retain letter sounds. They most loved how they can look at their own face while working on the sounds they need to learn. Because of these mirrors, my students have made progress to retain the sounds and are now beginning to read! It's such an exciting time in a 5-year-olds life when they realize they can read!
