The Pop-It Phonics Games you helped provide have made phonics practice exciting, interactive, and meaningful for every child in our classroom.\r\n\r\nMany of my students are developing foundational reading skills and need repeated, targeted practice with letter sounds, blends, digraphs, and sight words. Traditional worksheets can sometimes not be very engaging, but the Pop-It games have turned practice into something they genuinely look forward to. They think they are just playing games, but in reality are doing a great deal of learning! As students press each bubble while sounding out words, segmenting phonemes, or blending sounds together, they are strengthening their decoding skills in a fun and tactile way.\r\n\r\nI have already noticed increased engagement, improved focus, and greater confidence in students who previously hesitated during reading activities. The hands-on nature of these games supports different learning styles and especially benefits students who thrive with movement and sensory input. Even my most reluctant readers are eager to participate.\r\n\r\nYour support has not just provided materials—it has created joyful learning experiences and helped build strong reading foundations that will impact my students for years to come.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in their success and believing in the power of hands-on learning","fullyFundedDate":1765828585902,"projectUrl":"project/reading-pop-stars/9946609/","projectTitle":"Reading Pop Stars","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Fryer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1179283"},{"teacherId":1179283,"projectId":9843746,"letterContent":"Due to your generosity, my students are building the strong reading foundation they need to succeed — and it's all thanks to you!\r\n\r\nWith your support, I was able to implement the Heggerty Phonemic Awareness program with my reading groups. Phonemic awareness is one of the most critical early literacy skills, and this program gives students daily, structured practice in hearing, isolating, blending, segmenting, and manipulating sounds in words.\r\n\r\nStudents are successfully working with sounds and participating eagerly in our daily lessons. The quick, engaging routines keep all learners involved, and even my most hesitant readers are finding success!\r\n\r\nYour donation is doing more than purchasing a curriculum — it is giving students the tools to unlock reading. Strong phonemic awareness skills set the stage for fluent reading, spelling, and overall academic achievement. The skills they are building now will benefit them for years to come.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, you are helping my students believe in themselves as readers!\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in their future and for making a lasting difference in our classroom. When the students first saw the brightly colored 3 ring binders I think I actually heard some squeals. They felt very special to be given brand new binders of their very own to use for the year.\r\n\r\nThe binders are also so helpful because their work is kept neat, as opposed to getting all wrinkled in folders. Their stories are so easily accessible for rereading, which they often love to do with a partner.\r\n\r\nThank you, thank you from so many young, eager readers!","fullyFundedDate":1755733669216,"projectUrl":"project/reading-at-the-ready/9579139/","projectTitle":"Reading at the Ready!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Weissman","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4901910"},{"teacherId":4809164,"projectId":9613266,"letterContent":"A sincere thank you for helping bring these materials to my classroom. The binders, page protectors, and zipper pouches have streamlined my math groups. Students are easily able to store math games and materials in their desks to use as an extra independent activity. \r\n\r\nEven with a few leftover minutes students can pull out their binder and practice skills in a fun way. We have used these materials daily and saved so much time by not needing to pass out and collect the materials. \r\n\r\nWith students being in charge of their own materials I have seen an increase in responsibility and we have had less students lose materials. I also anticipate that students having the materials in their desk will cut down on spreading germs during the upcoming cold and flu season. \r\n\r\nAgain, thank you so much for making this possible for my students.","fullyFundedDate":1756144510546,"projectUrl":"project/math-game-organization/9613266/","projectTitle":"Math Game Organization","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. McDonough","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4809164_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1505783325659","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/haleyroom4"},{"teacherId":4809164,"projectId":9282661,"letterContent":"Students are so excited to have these nonfiction book and CD sets. When the materials arrived I was able to start a new listening center. Listening comprehension strategies have been a struggle for many students this year. It seems children are too used to be in front of a screen and have lost stamina for looking at books. My class is now able to have an entirely new listening center where students have texts in hand instead of looking at a screen. These resources are especially helpful for struggling readers since they can practice their comprehension skills. \r\n\r\nPreviously our listening center was independent work. However, we learn best when they can engage in meaningful collaborative conversations about what they are learning. With these new materials, students listen to the text, and the complete a worksheet together to deepen their understanding of the text. \r\n\r\nI am very thankful that students can have a listening center that is screen free.","fullyFundedDate":1746490042304,"projectUrl":"project/screen-free-listening-center/9282661/","projectTitle":"Screen Free Listening Center!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. McDonough","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4809164_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1505783325659","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/haleyroom4"},{"teacherId":8049726,"projectId":8770144,"letterContent":"I'm absolutely thrilled to share that your generous contributions have transformed our Pre-K classroom!
