Because of your donations, my students are more equipped for success. Having enough mini white boards, markers, and erasers allows students to be more engaged in problem solving. Algebra 2 can be a very complex course, but being able to break down concepts have students display their understanding allows me to reinforce learning targets and provide differentiated instruction.\r\n\r\nMany of my students have commented on how helpful it is to have handouts organized. Due to the colored paper you have provided, I have been able to provide notes for each unit on colored paper that makes it easy for students to access. This not only helps them quickly reference their notes during class, but will be a great asset when students need to review for their final exams. In addition, I am able to copy important handouts on bright paper that stands out in their backpacks. For example, we are currently factoring, and I have created a factoring sheet that lists the factors of numbers 1-100. Many of my students struggle with their multiplication facts and this is an easy way for them to not fall behind in learning the concepts. This is copied on bright yellow paper which is easy to find and use each day.\r\n\r\nOur school never has enough tissue boxes to last the school year. Between allergies and colds, it is nice to always have tissues on hand. Plus students miss less instructional time, because they do not leave the classroom to find tissues from the nurse just to blow their nose. The Band-Aids are also super helpful. So many time students ask for one and this saves a trip to the nurse. Having these basic supplies also creates a warm and inviting environment where students know they are cared for. \r\n\r\nI honestly cannot thank you enough for all your help and support with providing the tools and supplies to help my Algebra 2 students succeed.
