One specific moment that stood out was when we used the equipment to set up skill stations for each sport. The new barriers have been especially helpful for creating clear boundaries between stations, which has made our class time more organized and focused. Students now have dedicated spaces to practice skills like dribbling, passing, shooting, and setting without interfering with other groups. It's really helped keep things running smoothly and safely during class.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, they were so excited. They immediately noticed the new equipment and asked tons of questions about what we'd be using it for. Having these tools available, especially the barriers, gave them a sense of structure and made it easier for them to stay engaged and on task. It's been great to see students who are sometimes hesitant jump into activities with more confidence.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we're continuing to build on these skill stations and will soon transition into small-group games using the same setup. The barriers will continue to help us create clear play areas, allowing for better teamwork and communication within each group. Thanks to our donors, we've been able to create an active, safe, and fun learning environment where every student feels included and excited to participate.","fullyFundedDate":1740752533349,"projectUrl":"project/organized-play-improving-pe-with-floor/8954743/","projectTitle":"Organized Play: Improving PE with Floor Borders","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gentile","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9459921"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_44068","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":478,"numTeachers":32,"percentFrplEligible":41,"percentAsian":5,"percentBlack":4,"percentWhite":66,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":21,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"14.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":75.0,"schoolId":44068,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Bungay Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Bungay Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/connecticut/seymour-public-schools/bungay-elementary-school/44068"}
