Their impact has been nothing short of transformative, and I wanted to take a moment to share just how much they have meant to both my students and me.\r\n\r\nSince integrating these materials, I have witnessed a heightened level of engagement like never before. The students are not only eager to participate but are also genuinely excited about the hands-on learning experiences they are now able to have. The Bank Game, in particular, has been a game-changer in helping them grasp the concept of subtraction with regrouping. Watching their confidence grow as they manipulate the materials and gain a deeper understanding has been incredibly rewarding. \r\n\r\nAdditionally, the personal journals have had an unexpected yet beautiful impact on our classroom. The students were thrilled to receive their very own journals, and they have wholeheartedly embraced them. Beyond responding to daily prompts, many have started using their journals as a personal diary—creating a meaningful outlet for self-expression. Seeing them voluntarily take the time to write, reflect, and explore their thoughts has been truly inspiring.\r\n\r\nThe next steps for my students involve transitioning from the Subtraction Bank Game to learning division using the same Golden Bead Montessori materials. Since they have achieved mastery of their subtraction learning goals, they are ready to apply their understanding to division. Using the hands-on materials, students will begin by exploring division as sharing, distributing the golden beads into equal groups to develop a concrete understanding of the concept. They will then progress to division with remainders, building a strong foundation for future mathematical learning.\r\n\r\nIn addition to advancing in math, students will also be engaging in a writing project. Using their writing dictionaries and personal journals, they will begin crafting an expository essay on the impacts of technology on society. This project will allow them to develop their informational writing skills, organize their thoughts effectively, and use evidence to support their ideas. Their journals have already fostered a love for writing, and this essay will provide an opportunity for them to apply their skills in a structured format.\r\n\r\nThese materials have not only enriched our curriculum but have also fostered a love for learning, creativity, and personal growth. Thank you for your generosity and support in making this possible. Your investment in our students' education is making a profound difference, and I am so grateful for the positive impact it has had on our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1732499348350,"projectUrl":"project/hands-on-montessori-lakeshore-material/8965548/","projectTitle":"Hands-On Montessori & Lakeshore Materials for Students With IEPs","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Bransfield","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9847124"},{"teacherId":9462557,"projectId":8210209,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donation to my classroom!
