Through reading and reflecting on the story, students explored important themes such as kindness, friendship, courage, and self-acceptance. They were encouraged to think deeply about empathy and the ways small acts of compassion can make a big difference in the lives of others. The project allowed students to connect literature to their own experiences, express themselves through thoughtful discussions and creative responses, and strengthen their classroom community.\r\n\r\nEach student received their own copy of the book so they could revisit its lessons, share them with their families, and keep the story as a lasting reminder of the values we practiced together. Having their own book not only made the project feel personal and special, but also gave students a meaningful text they can return to for guidance and inspiration as they grow.","fullyFundedDate":1745943917435,"projectUrl":"project/the-boy-the-mole-the-fox-and-the-horse/9284742/","projectTitle":"The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse Project","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Paton","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9677061_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1745770548524","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9677061"},{"teacherId":5065865,"projectId":9126872,"letterContent":"My students were absolutely thrilled to receive our class set of Charlotte's Web.
