Things we could not have done without you! \r\n\r\nMost of the materials were delivered by the time the students started. They LOVED the bean bag chairs and the colorful stools at the back table. We had to wait for the bean bags to fluff up and boy did they keep me accountable to use them when they were ready! The best thing was the rug. We did not have a rug for a few days so we sat on the floor, but kept talking about it. The rug was delivered at the end of the day so the kids came in the next morning and screamed! It was really nice to see how excited they were about having a brand new rug. So many other people came in and complimented how great it made the room look. \r\n\r\nStools: Right now, the stools are being used at the back table for small group work. The students love the colors and how comfortable the padding is. What's great is that the stools move so easily and safely around the room. \r\n\r\nMagnetic Notebook Page: This has been sooooooo helpful in setting up their writing journals in a neat and organized way. I can model this on the board and they have a visual to follow.\r\n\r\nRug: A splash of comfortable color to do while group learning. What is great, is the puzzle pieces to give them a sense of their personal space. I also pull small groups on the rug for a change of scenery! \r\n\r\nBean Bags: Each day we switch who gets to sit in the book nook on the bean bags. It gives them a small space to learn and they love the bean bags! \r\n\r\nWhiteboards and Erasers: This is helpful for on the goal learning! Through reading and reflecting on the story, students explored important themes such as kindness, friendship, courage, and self-acceptance. They were encouraged to think deeply about empathy and the ways small acts of compassion can make a big difference in the lives of others. The project allowed students to connect literature to their own experiences, express themselves through thoughtful discussions and creative responses, and strengthen their classroom community.\r\n\r\nEach student received their own copy of the book so they could revisit its lessons, share them with their families, and keep the story as a lasting reminder of the values we practiced together.
