The few well-loved copies we had left were falling apart or missing pages, so receiving a shipment of brand-new titles felt like a true gift. The students were so eager, they began pulling books off my desk to read before I even had a chance to catalog them! Watching our youngest readers gather on the floor, sharing stories and laughing together, has been a heartwarming sight.\r\n\r\nWe kicked off the school year with The Pigeon Has to Go to School!, and it's already a favorite. The students can't get enough of the pigeon's antics, and the book has opened up important conversations about being nervous or new—emotions many of them are experiencing right now. Mo Willems' storytelling has provided not just entertainment, but comfort and connection for our classroom community.\r\n\r\nThe joy in their eyes when they read these books is something truly special.
