In Spanish class, students thrive in a calm, comfortable environment with opportunities for creative engagement. My goal is that by providing artistic and interactive activities that connect with our language and cultural learning objectives, students will have improved student mental health and increased engagement in class. This supports our district initiative of supporting student wellness.\r\n\r\nThe flexible seating options provides all students, including students with sensory/attention challenges, with more comfortable ways to engage in class. By adding 2 additional chairs, students will be able to be seated in a small group setting.\r\n\r\nMy students are special because they each bring their own interests and skills to the class, and they are excited to come to Spanish class because of the additional opportunities you are providing.\r\n\r\nWith these items, we are helping support students' mental health and social emotional wellness in Spanish class. I continue to learn and reflect as to how to best improve their Spanish learning experience. I am grateful for your generosity to support this project.
