Instead of being confined to traditional chairs, students spread out across the room in small teams. Some sat cross-legged on the floor with clipboards and boomwhackers, while others perched on wobble stools, humming melodies and jotting rhythms. They were more engaged, creative, and focused — and I truly believe the new environment played a huge role in that.\r\n\r\nRight now, we're working on a unit where students create their own musical story using percussion instruments and body sounds. The flexible seating makes it easy for them to move between instruments and collaborate freely, and it fosters a sense of ownership over their learning space.\r\n\r\nThis project didn't just give us materials — it gave my students the message that their comfort, creativity, and success matter. Thank you for believing in our little music makers.
