Because they select their own activities, they start the morning feeling confident and in control of their learning environment.\r\n\r\nThese materials also naturally strengthen executive functioning skills. Students practice planning and flexibility as they choose and switch activities, use working memory to follow multi-step game rules or recreate structures, and develop self-control as they collaborate, take turns, and share space with peers.
