The student council at our school was able to show their excessive school spirit using the sublimation printer and press. It not only allowed our students to show their school spirit in creating t-shirts and bottles but it also allowed them to learn to use a new piece of equipment. Students were able to see that they can make their own creations instead of just purchasing online. Hopefully this will help to create more entrepreneurs! \r\n\r\nOur students are the future of this world and we appreciate all that you have given in making this possible! I have seen formerly reluctant readers blossom into voracious ones, devouring entire series! This is a huge deal, as I had been struggling to meaningfully engage students with independent reading choices. Students are now able to align their reading time during double period classes reading manga of their favorite shows. \r\n\r\nThese texts also work as a great engagement tool, allowing us to connect the course content of my Senior Seminar to some of the titles! Students have been able to close read some volumes and identify aspects of the fantasy genre; I'm confident they'll be able to continue this application as we begin to transition into our science fiction unit.\r\n\r\nI have had countless students thank me for providing access to titles they want to read - and this availability makes all the difference. Twenty minutes of reading had been a challenge - often, students didn't know what to read. Now, I have whole classes selecting books from my manga library and finding new worlds to immerse themselves in.
