We have used the Astrobright paper for several crafts aligned to our literacy and numeracy curriculum. The paper has also been used as a background when displaying student work in the classroom and on our classroom bulletin board in the hallway. The sanitizer spray has been used daily as it has killed germs and helped keep our classroom clean! This has been a huge help in disinfecting our classroom and keeping the students safe and healthy during the winter season! Lastly, the paper bags have been used for multiple purposes, including snack and math time. Our math curriculum requires the students to use a handful of math manipulatives for each lesson, so the paper bags have come in handy when separating and organizing manipulatives for the students when working in partners or small groups. Students have used the dot markers during indoor recess time as well during math and literacy center time. For example, the students \"dot\" out certain numbers between 1-10 and lowercase/uppercase letters, this in turn has supported number and letter formation! The push pin wooden clips have been so helpful in displaying student work on our classroom bulletin board in the hallway. It has been very easy to switch up what work is displayed. Lastly, the number bonds set has been used to support math instruction. The students are currently learning to compare numbers and groups of numbers with manipulatives.
