The students like the variety since it offers a new way of learning the material.\r\n\r\nIn addition, I received supplies that have been helpful. Our district initiative is to have students writing more in all classes. Math has always been a challenge. I got a math journal for each of my in person students. Every day they have a question which they need to answer using complete sentences. The questions include explaining how to solve a problem, vocabulary explanations, etc. Since I have started using the math journal, the students have shown an increase in writing. Responses are improving. \r\n\r\nOther supplies that have been a plus in the classroom include dry erase markers and erasers for individual whiteboards, notebooks for class notes, and sleeves to put each students' materials into one place. Each student gets their materials out when they come to class. I know each student has their own notebook, pencil, journal, dry erase marker and eraser in their packet. It makes for a quick start to the class.\r\n\r\nI appreciate the supplies and resources. They have been helpful in my classes and have added activities to help the students.
