Because of your generosity, my office has become a welcoming space where students feel comfortable coming in, opening up, relaxing, or even just grabbing a donated snack when they need something quick on their way to our vocational campus (snacks are only for purchase over there and they only get 7 minutes for \"lunch\" with travel time).\r\n\r\nI'm especially thankful for the lamps and lighting, which completely transformed the room and set the calming tone I was hoping for. The wipes, pens, and other supplies have been equally helpful—allowing me to keep things clean and to pair the pens with the grief journals I personally purchased for students who need them. Your support has made this vision possible, and I'm so thankful for the care and encouragement you've extended to my students and me.","fullyFundedDate":1742823948172,"projectUrl":"project/calming-room-requests/9162989/","projectTitle":"Calming Room Requests!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Beach","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9967655"},{"teacherId":9642150,"projectId":9102279,"letterContent":"When our leadership class first received the donated snacks, the students' excitement was immediate and genuine. Many of them gasped and said, \"They just gave us these?\" Since they are not used to receiving donated items, the moment was both surprising and meaningful. They felt valued and deeply appreciated the generosity behind the gift.\r\n\r\nThe students quickly put the resources to good use, sharing snacks with classmates and members of the community. They were not only thrilled to enjoy the products themselves but were even more proud to witness the joy they brought to others. This project turned into a valuable lesson in leadership and service, showing them how simple acts of kindness can have a big impact. One of the most rewarding moments for me as a teacher was seeing how proud they were to give back and represent their school in such a positive way.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, our students are already preparing for the upcoming Homecoming Fall Carnival, where these donated items will help us build our booth and create fun activities to offer. This project has strengthened their confidence, teamwork, and sense of responsibility. Your generosity is helping our students grow as leaders while spreading joy to others, and we are truly grateful for your support.","fullyFundedDate":1747071818065,"projectUrl":"project/latinos-in-action-leadership/9102279/","projectTitle":"Latinos in Action - Leadership","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. De La Torre","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9642150_orig.jpg?crop=1181,1182,x0,y90&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753770073185","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9642150"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_41352","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1187,"numTeachers":69,"percentFrplEligible":35,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":58,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":31,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"17.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"UNCLASSIFIED","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":82.9,"schoolId":41352,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Littleton High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Littleton High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/colorado/littleton-public-school-district-6/littleton-high-school/41352"}
