My students were so excited to see the new materials in our classroom \"Peace Place\". Students helped unpack and organize our new cozy spot in the classroom and immediately grabbed a book and began reading. \r\n\r\nIf you were to come into my classroom on any day and at any time you would likely see a student utilizing our Peace Place. For example, today I saw a student use this spot to regulate their emotions. It was so beneficial for them to have somewhere safe to go when emotions were strong. I also saw a student use this space to complete some reading tasks. This student just wanted a quieter space to work. Another student, felt wiggly and wanted somewhere they could stretch out more. Yet another student, used the space to sit and take some deep breathes before returning to the group for learning. All of these things represent exactly what this space is for. \r\n\r\nWe appreciate your generosity in donating to our classroom. We use these materials everyday countless times a day. This space has helped students stay on task, reflect, refocus and stay successful.
