Most of them had never had a story that long read to them, nor the opportunity to actually dive deep and understand how much actually comes from a story. \r\n\r\nSo thank you again for the support. We created a classroom economy where students earn rewards by demonstrating responsibility, positive behavior, and strong academic effort. Students practice real-world skills such as budgeting, saving, and making thoughtful choices as they decide how and when to use their earned rewards.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the rewards, their excitement was immediate. Many students began asking thoughtful questions about how they could earn, save, or trade their rewards, which opened the door to rich conversations about money management and goal setting. The rewards quickly became more than just incentives, they became tools for learning and discussion.\r\n\r\nBecause of this project, students are now applying financial literacy concepts during our daily routines and classroom activities. Our next steps include expanding our classroom economy by introducing simple lessons on needs versus wants, saving for larger goals, and reflecting on spending choices. These experiences are helping students build foundational financial skills they can carry with them beyond the classroom.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and helping make financial literacy engaging, meaningful, and fun. Students gathered around as we unpacked everything, asking questions and making predictions about how we would use them. Several students said things like, \"I get this now!\" and \"Can we use these again tomorrow?\" Their enthusiasm carried straight into our lessons, and the positive energy has continued ever since.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, students are now able to take their learning to the next level. They were thrilled to see boxes filled with fresh pencils, glue sticks, and markers—simple items that make a big difference in helping every student feel prepared and confident. The illuminated globe instantly caught their attention. We turned off the lights to see it glow, and there were plenty of \"wows\" and \"that's so cool!\" moments as students traced the continents and discovered where different countries are located. It's already become a favorite tool during our social studies lessons.\r\n\r\nThe Snap Circuits kits have been another huge hit. During our recent science unit on electricity, students worked in small groups to build complete circuits. Watching their faces light up (almost as brightly as the bulbs they powered!) was an unforgettable moment. They proudly shared their designs with classmates, showing off how their teamwork made the circuits work. These hands-on experiences have deepened their understanding of how energy flows and made science truly come alive in our classroom.\r\n\r\nThe new timers have also helped students take more ownership of their learning, whether they're tracking experiment times or practicing independent reading stamina. And thanks to the storage boxes, everything now has a home—keeping our space organized and easy to navigate.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, my students have the tools they need to explore, create, and stay curious. The lap desks were an instant hit—students loved having the freedom to choose a cozy spot to read, write, or collaborate. During our independent reading block, one student shared that the lap desk \"makes it feel like I have my own little office.\" It's been wonderful to see how this flexibility has encouraged focus and independence in their work.\r\n\r\nThe calm-down ball has also quickly become a favorite tool. We introduced it as part of our emotional regulation strategies, and students now know they can use it when they need a quiet moment to reset. Having that option has noticeably reduced frustration and helped create a calmer classroom environment. Meanwhile, the electric pencil sharpener has become a classroom hero—no more lost learning time or broken pencil drama!\r\n\r\nFor me, the portable monitors have been a tremendous help. They've made grading, lesson planning, and organizing digital materials far more efficient, allowing me to devote more energy to working directly with students. Our next step is to continue building on this flexible, student-centered environment—using these tools to strengthen independence, self-regulation, and productivity in everything we do.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping us create a classroom where every student can thrive. The loved it! \r\n The clear 3-tiered drawers allow students to be able to see the supplies they need without question and are easily accessible. \r\n The little baskets and cups make everything feel fresh, clean, and organized.
